Tips for Going Without Makeup


In today’s fast-paced society, it’s getting harder and harder to find women who don’t wear makeup. Everyone from your next-door neighbor named Heather to big-name celebrities such as Angelina Jolie or Beyonce are wearing it. What is wrong with makeup you ask? Well there are much better alternatives to wearing makeup which if everyone did will eliminate the global need for makeup. Why do people wear makeup? It should be pretty obvious — to look more attractive to others. You might be using it for sales or business to get the sale or move up the corporate ladder. But most commonly women are using makeup to get their share of attention from the opposite sex. As a bonus-effect from looking more attractive it also improves your self-esteem. So I’m going to show you a list of four ways that will make you look more attractive physically without the use of fashion or makeup.

Makeup Alternatives:

1. Exercise Daily
Look, you don’t have to get a statistics book out to know that an overwhelming population of America is overweight. And if you’ve visited several other countries like I have, you’ll notice that American women are much less attractive on average primarily because of the population eating such unhealthy processed foods and not exercising to compensate. The keywords here are “on average”. And if you haven’t visited other countries, please don’t comment. Humans did not evolve by sitting around in a car for several hours a day in traffic or slouching in an office chair for 8 hours. They evolved and survived by walking around on their own two feet for a good time of the day. Our bodies were meant to move. So if you exercise daily you will tighten up and tone that body you can only dream about. A tight, fit body with a clean face and clear pores from sweating out the toxins and burning the baby fat is what you really need to look good.

2. Exercise Outdoors
You can spend your entire time indoors working in an office and go exercising every day, but if you do all your workouts in an indoors gym you won’t get that tan. Once again, humans weren’t meant to be shaded from the sun all day long, you have to get outside to get a tan. Don’t just go to a tanning salon where you’d have to pay for an unnatural tan by a machine or by a spray. Multitask by getting a tan while you workout outdoors. Go for a relaxing jog outside with an mp3 player. Or you can even go jogging on the beach, or swimming in the community pool. Playing tennis is also fun if you have a partner to play with. Yes, walking works too! And another side effect of a great tan is acne is covered up extremely well. Makeup can’t even get close to this! Just don’t forget the sun-tan if you are going to the beach.

3. Eat Healthy
Since our current society in America loves eating unhealthy processed foods, most people aren’t aware that it is actually one of the major causes of acne. You don’t need a science book to or a quote from a science article to figure this one out. If you don’t eat healthy, your body’s hormones obviously aren’t in balance. If your hormones aren’t in balance you get acne - simple! So without acne being a problem, makeup looks much less desirable. So stop eating fast-food and start adding in some raw fruits and veggies with some fish on the side.

4. Rest More
Baggy eyes are a common reason for people to want to wear makeup. Seriously it’s like you are a walking zombie. Are you dead or are you alive? Make up your mind because who wants to live a life where they are walking around dead-tired for 80-90 years. If you get more rest everyday (not just on the weekends), then you’re eyes should return to their natural state and you won’t need this silly makeup which is hiding your dying body.

Stop working so hard! You aren’t a robot. Or perhaps you are?
