THE MORNING AFTER

The worst thing we can do to our face is to screw it up with hectic partying. Late nights and alcohol mean serious depletion of moisture from your face .The thing is to guzzle up H2O.preferably through the evening, but if you haven’t, you can come home and drink a glass of water before you sleep. Next morning gulp lots of fluids which include herbal tea, (jasmine and chamomile, also helps hangovers), lemonade and juice. For the rest of the day, keep spritzing your face at regular intervals. You can Use a highly rejuvenating but light moisturizer by Christian Dior with pure fruit waters.

Avoid developing sensitive skin or minimize irritation by using fewer ingredients. If you plan to party a lot, find ways to maximize your looks but with minimal cosmetics.

Professional make up like MAC and Bobbi Brown are far more protective than some cheap drugstore. Always cleanse, tone ad moisturize before you apply make up- it keeps make up from looking chalky and acts s a protective layer.

Your face is bound to get a little puffy and zitty when you party lot; stress hormones may stimulate the oil glands to produce zest’s to cool it down – the used tea bags and cucumber slice routine or ice cubes and rose water.

In the morning, rub it all over your face. Or grate a cucumber, soak a cotton ball in it and wipe your whole face with it.Fifteen minutes in a steam room and a clod shower work wonders for a puffy face.

If you have oily skin use matte, instead of oil based make up. You also get powder foundations that do a great job of a blotting paper-by cutting the grease out.

Cleansing is important for the long term health of your skin. However it balances your skin with the environment. But make sure not to overuse as it can make your skin more sensitive, to get rid of the goop on the eyes, use an eye make up remover instead of just applying a regular facial cleanser to such a sensitive area.

Never forget to tone and moisturize after you have cleansed. Mix in bit of shimmer lotion to your moisturizer and rub all over your face, this gives an illusion of healthy and hydrated skin one trick that really works is to place potato or zucchini slices on your lids for about five minutes and apply slight pressure. This helps drain out excess fluid and opens up your eyes.

All I can say is –stay equipped and party hard!!
