Christmas season is in and with it has come a whole new season of fun, frolic and lots of partying. If you are still thinking which look you should carry in the form of makeup this season, here’s our guide to make-up that’ll bring you the best in you and have people turning around to see if THIS is what the real you is!

This Christmas the look is subtle, not gory. Even if it is the evening parties you’re attending, light makeup is the call of the season as it makes you look like your natural self and only prettier is the way to go. So far the notion has been to pile up the face with too heavy a makeup in order to look glamorous. However, overdone make up can make you look older and hence it is best to stick to minimal touch-ups. Light make up makes you look younger and more inviting to guys – if you didn’t know that.
The first thing you need to invest is in a set of makeup brushes. The ones can come free with cosmetics are not of that superior a quality and hence should be completely avoided. Fine brushes work well when you’re actually putting on your face.
The next is to get a right foundation for yourself. The best way is to go in for one that rightly matches your skin tone. It should be neither be too light nor too dark. If you think your skin is already smooth and doesn’t need much coverage, you can also use a tinted moisturizer close to your skin tone.
Now the eyes! Forget what people have been saying so far and dare you look your natural best this season. If you really want to get the natural look out in your eyes, apply a soft shimmer on your eyes and use the eye liner as sparingly as possible. Define the lashes using a mascara but separate them immediately with a clean mascara brush or a comb.
Well if you turning a rebel against the make-up freaks this season, then let’s do it properly. Drop the wine red lips and go for something nude and neutral shades with lots of gloss accentuating them
