How to take care of your skin while dieting?

When we are heading towards keeping our body fit, we usually tend to forget the needs of our skin. Your diet shouldn’t negatively affect your skin. Your skin reflects how healthy the food, that you eat is.
Everyday your skin is exposed to harmful soaps and chemicals. It becomes mandatory for you to follow a proper skin care regime along with a balanced diet. Eating the wrong food can cause the skin lose its ability to replace old or damaged cells. You need to eat all the right nutrients in the right proportions.
Here are a few tips on skin care while dieting:
• While dieting you should never cut out on essential fatty acids (EFAs). EFAs support the cardiovascular, immune, and reproductive and nervous systems. They also enable the body to create new cells, repair those that are damaged and get rid of toxins. EFAs are very helpful for people with dry skin conditions. You can include fish, soya oil, leafy vegetables, walnuts, canola, hemp oil, chia seeds and flax seeds in your diet to have the essential fatty acids.
• You should completely avoid fried foods, the food with high content of sodium and fats, white food.
• You should plan a balanced diet under the prescription of the dietician or the beauty expert. Follow the diet chart strictly even after you have achieved healthy looking skin.
• Dieting may result in many skin problems like acne. They may be caused due to excessive stress. It is advisable to keep your skin clean, wear as little makeup as possible. Wash your face twice a day with water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Scrubbing should be avoided.
• As soon as you begin your diet, use firming creams on your face, and keep on using them while you’re losing weight .This will definitely be of some help to you.
It’s said that people who diet without exercising often become fatter with time. You can choose to follow an exercise regime along with dieting. Walking is one of the best and easiest exercises for beginners.
