• If possible and to be on the safer side you can also bring your own nail polish, base coat, and other top coats. Ideally this has nothing to do with you catching infection but what’s the harm in carrying them along with you. You can also remove your old nail polish at home itself before going for it.
• Checking out a good salon where you can get your nails done is one of the most important things you need to do in this regard. See if it looks clean and hygienic or not. The tables, the trash container, the floor – these things can give you a fair idea about the place. The place should also be well lighted.
• If you are not taking your own manicure kit, make sure the ones to be used for you in the salon are properly disinfected and free from any kind of debris.
