If the summer heat is driving you up the wall or baking you everytime you step outdoor, it is time for you to beat the summer heat by following some easy yet highly effective tips.
The human body loses maximum amount of water through perspiration and it becomes absolutely essential for you to drink loads of water to keep it hydrated. This means if you drink about 6-8 glasses of water a day, it is time to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to beat the summer heat.
Include fruits such as watermelon, grapefruit, pineapple, pears and other citrus fruits to your daily diet so that you stay cool and hydrated.
Bring out whites and cottons and pack synthetic fabrics and tight-fitted clothes until the winter.
Get a short hairstyle so that hair does not bother you when you are sweating, this would also help you prevent scalp infections that could be caused by excessive scalping at the head.
Apply sunscreen about half an hour before you step out (SPF 15 or SPF 30) and do make sure that it suits your skin.
Sunglasses are a summer necessity but do make sure that they offer 100 protection from ultra-violet rays.
In addition to these tips, you should also be following these summer protection tips.
- Avoid drinking chilled water immediately after returning from the outdoor heat and keep a scarf around your mouth from traveling.
- Never consume fruits or juices from vendors that provide unhygienic things, take some time out and serve yourself in the best possible manner.
- If possible, opt for pest control at home. Lizards can be commonly found during the summers and you surely do not want them to come anywhere near you, your family, or the food products.
