Workout sessions during pregnancy

If you have just been greeted with the news of a “happy arrival” and want to get in best shape to deliver a healthy baby, this piece of information on workout sessions during pregnancy will be more than just beneficial for you.

According to a recently concluded survey, bodies of 42 percent expecting women are not in a good shape and this often lead to pregnancy problems. This is because most women are so much preoccupied with their sedentary lifestyle that they do not or cannot spend quality time to care for their health.

It is worthwhile to note here that working out during pregnancy not only makes childbirth easier but also is beneficial in creating and maintaining high standards of health and fitness. Exercises such as Yoga, swimming, walking, and kegel exercises (for strengthening pelvic muscles supporting bowel, uterus, and bladder) are some of the best exercising options but only after medical advice.

You, however, should follow a high sense of care and diligence so that you don’t end up straining the body; wearing comfortable clothing and emphasis on good health and not on weight loss are keys to deliver a healthy baby. It is highly important that any exercise that requires you to lie down is just NOT meant for you as that can interrupt in supply of blood flow to the baby.

Last but not the least, it is important for you to eat right and sound sleep for at least 8-9 hours a day. The intake of 8-10 glasses of water a day is also recommended so that your body doesn’t get dehydrated. Happy motherhood!

You can even Calcium Sandoz tablets once or twice a day, as per the medical advice. If you can devote extra care, eating turnips and dry lotus stem are highly recommended. If you can add nuts or soya protein in your diet plans along with calcium supplements, there is nothing like that.

In case you have recently noticed yellow nails, it is high time that you seek medical advice as frequent changes of nail color and absence of basecoat have given a bad impression to your nails. Beautiful and healthy skin

Winter Season is a stressful time for your skin. It is during these cold months that your skin gets sandwiched between cold outdoor temperature and low humidity indoor levels. Thus it is important to take special care of your skin.

The best way to keep your skin healthy in winters is to keep replenishing its moistre. The 2 grounds for winter skin care- choose milder cleansers and richer moisturizers.

Kick start the process by avoiding long hot water baths as they make the skin dehydrated. Rather take tepid showers with moisturizing body wash and remember to apply moisturizer on your skin within 3 minutes soon you finish your bath. This helps trap water in the upper layer of the skin thereby decreasing dryness and itching. As far as your face is concerned- wash it with lukewarm water with mild facial cleanser.

Another important point to be kept in mind is to keep your body well hydrated. Drink at least 64 ounces of water in a day. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Use a scrub meant for your skin type once a week but –Be gentle.Dont avoid using sunscreen of SPF 30 or more.

4 simple tips to take care of your skin in winters:

1. STEAM: Night is the best time for skin care. Before going to bed just keep in mind to cleanse your skin of the entire make up as well as the environmental residues gathered during the whole day. Use a facial steamer or a cloth soaked in hot water, wring lightly and bring the cloth close to your face, keep it there for 1 or 2 minutes and let the steam penetrate to open the pores.

2. CLEANSE: Splash warm water on your face and neck. Take appropriate amount of skin cleanser, mix some water to it to get some creamy lather. Massage this onto your face and neck with soft fingers for about 30 seconds. Then wash it with lukewarm water and gently pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

3. TONE: Dampen a piece of cotton with an alcohol free toner and gently wipe your face and neck area. This will remove the left out residue. Toning also closes our pores, preparing the skin for its moisturizing treatment. Alcohol free toners are far gentler on the face of your skin especially important during winters.

4. MOISTURISE : Apply a small amount of moisturizer on your face and neck in an upward, circular direction. Do not over apply.
