DESIGNING THE TATTOO
![]() |
Tattoos have been very much in vogue past one year now in the fashion worlds though this traditional body art comes back from ages ago. Tattooing was generally common among males, but times have changed as women have the freedom of expression and the right to do whatever they feel like in today’s world where no one bothers about anyone.
More and more women are found getting tattooed as they feel its cool way of showing the world their feelings and interests, even their sensuality.
Women have different personalities and so they have different designs to choose from the tattoo book. A lot of women are seen sporting dainty fairy or flower tattoos and butterfly or dragonfly tattoos done in various designs. Some having that rough looks go for the tougher-looking tattoos for more impact. You will mostly find them wearing in beaches where women show a lot of skin, baring those sexy tattoos that speaks volumes about the wearer.
Dragonfly tattoos are quite cute, sexy and feminine. These are quite colorful and appealing when done on arm or the lower back. In western culture it is regarded as black evil but in the eastern side it’s said to provide positive energy. The literal meaning of dragonfly means the “ability to fulfill her dreams or to go to places she dreams of going to. It also conjures up images of passion, lightheartedness and being carefree.” there are different reasons to sport a design if u ask women who have put the same design though they all may mean to have such tattoo is to make good conversation pieces out of them.
Also there are tattoos - The tribal style of tattoos which comes from the older tribes such as the Celtics (Ireland, Scotland, & Wales), Maori Tribe (indigenous people of New Zealand), The Haida Tribe (indigenous people along the west coast of North America), the Marquesan (Polynesian inhabitants of the Marquises Islands) and the tribes of Borneo.
An even celebrity like Mike Tyson’s facial tattoo was a combination of the Maori and Borneo Tribal tattoos. Sandra Bullock has a Tribal tattoo design below her navel. Pamela Anderson has a Tribal design on her lower back and many others. Other designs you may find are cross tattoo images, cowgirl tattoo art, and cow skull tattoo designs.
These all above designs give the quintessential style to the body making you much more confident and great in your own way.
