How to take care of hair while sleeping

If you have been one of those girls or women who think that hair care is only meant during the daytime, it is time for you to think again. In this article, we will be accessing some hair care tips and precautions so that you can take care of hair even while sleeping tight.

It is important to wash your hair with a mild (preferably natural) shampoo if you have applied a hair care product in the day or evening times. This would not only help your scalp stay clean but your hair will remain beautiful forever. Moreover, it is always recommended to nourish your hair with a leave-in conditioner, especially if you have dry and fragile hair. It is highly suggested that you moisturize the hair ends more than the hair roots so that a greasy scalp and split ends can be avoided.

In addition to these tips, it is recommended that you sleep on silk pillow cases and say goodbye to rough fabrics. When it is time for you to retire in the bed, it will be good if you can spend some quality time with your hair to gently detangle your tresses with a paddle brush or a flat comb. Sleeping with open hair is always a recommended option as that helps in hair maintenance and ensures complete rest.

We hope that you find these hair care tips and precautions useful in more than just a way and you could also forward these suggestions to some one you care about.

Beauty tips for expecting women

Most married women, in their 20s and 30s, often have to answer if they are “expecting” because of their glowing skin and extra kilos. The female hormone, estrogen, is what is responsible for adding the extra beauty to your body during pregnancy but this hormone can be troublesome for you after delivery. Let us read as to how you can take good care of yourself, during and after pregnancy.

High estrogen levels, during pregnancy, reduce hair fall and leads to thick tresses but significant hair loss and thinning may be noticed by some women who are highly sensitive after giving birth to the baby. It is for this reason that expecting women are always advised to avoid all hair-related chemical treatments and sustain themselves on a rich and balanced diet with special emphasis on dry fruits and green vegetables.

Hair color treatment is best avoided during pregnancy though there is no scientific evidence till date suggesting any negative impact. If you have been experiencing a brownish discoloration of the skin on cheek, nose, and forehead towards the end of the second trimester or the beginning of the third trimester, it is suggested that you make use of sunscreen to minimize melasma. Women afflicted with acne should avoid facials and try using salicylic acid facewash and antibiotic and benzoyl peroxide (2%) gel at night on acne. In order to avoid stretch marks, it is recommended that you massage once a week with warm olive oil or good moisturizing cream.

We hope that these beauty tips for expecting women will help you in endless ways.

Beautiful hair,Beautiful you

There is nothing quite as beautiful as HAIR that’s lustrous and luxuriant. Pretty tresses cascading down a back is the stuff that makes heads turn. Everyone of us wish to have shining hair. People try a lot to make there hair look better. The foremost thing is to know what kind of hair texture one has then accordingly should maintain. Here’s how you can make your hair look its best.

DRY HAIR: Dry hair is brittle and breaks very easily because of inactive oil glands, over exposure to sun, harsh hair care products and various chemical treatments. Dry hair needs a lot of care and nourishment.

FIGHT IT: get an oil massage at least twice a week. Use a mild shampoo with a good nourishing-cum- moisturizing conditioner after every wash which would give extra strength to your hair. Use deep conditioning hair mask at least once a month. Avoid using dryer and electric curlers that would only make your hair drier.

LIMP HAIR: Fine textured hair has fewer cuticle layers thus they break easily, clumps together and sticks to the scalp thus appearing limp and flat.

FIGHT IT: Use a volumising conditioner to add body to your hair. To encourage hair volume try to get a layered haircut.

FRIZZY HAIR: Your hair expands and changes the shape when your hair is not conditioned because it absorbs moisture from the air.

FIGHT IT: Condition your hair regularly. Put some hair gel or smoothening cream when your hair is wet to make the surface smooth. Do not use chemical treatments.

OILY HAIR: Due to improper diet or hormone swings your scalp produces lot of oil. It can also happen if the shampoo is not rinsed off properly.

FIGHT IT: Wash your hair everyday thoroughly with attention to the scalp. Do not use much of styling products so as to avoid oil build-ups. During blow-drying use a low setting as heat activates oil glands.

“The hair is the richest ornament of women.”
