Acne Vulgaris!


Each one of us have suffered from some kind of acne anomaly in our lifetime. The mild ones such as black and white heads are a common occurrence to almost all the women now a days. Where we can get these easily treated at beauty clinics in no time, there are other some severe forms which might cause massive damage to our skin. However, since it is our face which is at stake, we ought to know the cause of these eruptions so as to combat them effectively or not let them occur in the first place. Here are some symptoms lining the occurrence of Acne Vulgaris as it is scientifically addressed!

Alright now, Acne Vulgaris mostly occur in those areas of the skin which have high density of sebaceous glands. Our first acquaintance with them is during our puberty when our hair, face and upper trunk of the body usually becomes greasier due to excessive production of sebum. However, this condition is more extreme with women already having oily skin.

We usually have these acne appearing on our faces but sometimes it might also occur areas such as the upper back, centre of the chest, shoulders, and neck. This disorder becomes more severe in winters and tends to improve during summers due to increased exposure to sunlight. Sometimes these are also caused due to occupational situations especially on those parts of the body which acne come in direct contact with oily clothes.

However acnes whether it is a tiny papule or a nodule, appears with some symptoms, we should all know. Here are some of them!

• Little blackheads on the sides of the nose, under the lower lip and forehead region
• Small, firm white heads under the lower lip region
• Red inflamed pimples with yellow pus-filled tips
• Large, firm, red lumps on the skin, often painful in nature
• Tender lumps beneath the skin without any heads but pain when pressed

The types of lesions listed above may develop on our face and bodies at any time but their severity greatly varies from person to person. Sometimes deep-seated lesions also leave scars after they have been healed.
