The sun is back in its full glory, bringing with it a great release from the dryness winters brought to our skin. However, summers have their own set of hazards but by employing some measures you can have yourself looking beautiful as ever, every moment of everyday!

Well the first thing that enters our mind when we think of summers is ‘water’, be it the sea or the pool and if you spend too much time in it without taking care, you are likely to damage your skin and hair in more ways than you know. So the first rule is to keep your skin covered in a sun screen every time you enter the waters. You must massage your body well with it to make sure it seeps in your skin pores. This will help chemicals and other destructive elements present in water from affecting your skin.

Another important thing you need to take care of during summers is your make-up. The heat of the sun can easily melt your make-up so make sure you do not cover your face with layers of foundation during summers. So the rule of the thumb is to apply as little make-up as possible and only stick to natural shades to look naturally beautiful in your own skin. Some of these shades include nude earthen colors, plum, shimmers and glosses.

Skin pores already tend to get blocked by the sweat and dust particles during hot days and a layer of makeup can only make it worse. If you think you desperately need something to hide your imperfections, use a cream-based foundation in very little quantities and dab it with a light foundation powder so that the cream gets locked. You can also use a tinted moisturizer if you think using a foundation might not be a bright idea during summers. It works equally well in hiding small flaws on the face.

Dark eye make-up should also be avoided on all occasions.This is so because the moment it catches the heat, you will start looking like a raccoon when great makeup smudges around your eyes. Choose bronzer for evening and blush anytime to create an image of sun-kissed cheeks. The best way to escape this it to use waterproof make-up during the hot summer months, i.e. if applying make-up is a must. Ideally you should avoid it as much as you can.

Get your hands and legs cleaned and dare to use some bold colors on them. This will add to the fun element that summers bring with them.

Who is obese? By definition, a person who weighs 30% or more over her ideal weight is obese .Excess weight is usually defined by measuring a person’s weight in kilograms then dividing it by that person height in meters squared.

What’s wrong with being overweighed?
Chronic overweight is a serious medical problem and can be contributory cause of many health complications like hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, atherosclerosis, etc, etc. Another possibility is that obese persons breathe at higher frequencies—but substantially smaller tidal volumes—compared with non-obese individuals. As a result, the bronchodilatory effect of tidal strains is compromised and the obese person is predisposed toward increased airway responsiveness.

Why this affinity to eat?
The number one cause is over eating causes hypoglycemia, emotional and psychological factors and nutritional deficiencies, people who are unhappy or feel lonely, then to comfort eating to calm their anxieties. Paradoxically, over weight people are undernourished because junk food has lots of calories, but not much to offer by way of nutrition.

Lack of exercise is one of the prime causes of being over weight. You have to balance your calories intake with calorie expenditure.

The only safe way to reduce obesity is to -
• Eat four to five small meals a day.
• Avoid all white or brown sugar, refined denatured food and drink lots of water.
• Eat ripe tomatoes every morning for breakfast as it contains important vitamin and minerals.
• Water retention is a common problem for premenstrual women and is bound to make you feel full and fat
• Most important is to chew your food properly which gives you a feeling of being full and thus prevents overeating.

The study doesn’t suggest all overweight women are headed for health problems. Not everyone who’s overweight is unhealthy. And being lean doesn’t guarantee good health.

Get rid of your acne – the natural way!

If you intend you not just cure yourself but also keep your acne at bay forever, you’ll have to change your diet and stop eating all the acid-forming eatbles such as fast foods, confectioneries, soft drinks and other junk food. Start focusing on more natural meals like leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, buts, root vegetables and fresh juices.

Draw a proper menu plan to ensure that you intake the right food, in the right amount or lest you may find yourself from yet another common problem of indigestion. Your mornings i.e. the breakfast should consist of cereals, fruits, milk and salads.Meals should be less carbohydrate rich than the breakfast. It is imperative that you focus on having proper proteins in your lunch such as lentils and soya. Your evenings should be filled with very light cuisines such as avocadoes or green coconuts blended with tomatoes and some sea salt. The idea is to facilitate digestion of the food before you go to bed. We usually stuff our stomachs with food and immediately throw our selves on the bed at the slightest sign of feeling dizzy the soon after. This is the biggest mistake we commit.

Chew well. Also avoid drinking water along with your meals as they further dilute the digestive juices in your stomach. If you have drunk water before your meal, wait for a good one hour before you start eating.

You might be thinking that how a change in your diet regime helps you get rid of your deep borne blisters?? Ideally blisters occur when the acidulous chemical formation in the body become manifold. Applying creams and lotions certainly help but these are cosmetic recipes which are only temporary. Also try keeping your stress levels in control by exercising daily or meditating for few minutes everyday if possible. Because having a happy body is the only way to have an acne-free face, devoid of all impurities and strain.
