Have you noticed that sometimes some friends of yours look older than their age while some seem to be still basking the beauty of their teens? While one of them looks 24, the other seems to unsuccessfully prove she’s not forty - all of this despite the fact that they are of the same age. Thus a thing to be noted here is that your biological age shows how worn out your body actually is. It is then not limited just to that tiny number in your passport but starts showing on your face the toll you’ve had on your body.

Where the reasons leading to this could be many, here are some most prominent lifestyle anomalies that actually lead to human aging at a rate faster than it should be. I want you to read these carefully and see if any of these match yours. If yes, then you should get started in combating it right away for if you don’t initiate now, you’ll be welcoming your collapse pretty soon.

I am listing some routine essentials which if pursued can subtract substantial number of years from your age, making you look more youthful and sprightly than ever!

• Daily consumption of tomatoes in any form , whether raw, in the form of sauces or roasted ideally subtracts .8 years from the age of women, making you look more youthful than ever!

• It is also said that daily consumption of aspirin pills subtracts almost 2.2 years.

• Morning walk in fresh air for 30 minutes reduces upto 1.6 years from your age.

• If you exercise just 30 minutes per week, it is enough to subtract 1.6 years form your age.

• Chocolate, they say is very useful in prolonging life up to 1.3 years.

• Daily consumption of five different fruits also adds a close to 1.4 years to your youth, thereby making you look as vibrant and radiant as ever.

The magic of beauty sleep!

We have often been heard about how important sleep is for us. In layman’s language, we know that it relaxes the body and prepares the mind for the next day’s hustle bustle. But how many of us really know that getting a good night’s sleep can bring exceptional glow on our skin. Yes, good sleep is one of the prime essentials in acquiring a skin that’s not only radiant but wrinkle free as well.

Let’s have a look at how it works!

Everything starts with having a proper routine. A routine which schedules everything you do at a specific time – whether it be having your meals or going to work or going to bed. Don’t think that just because you are going to bed everyday does not mean you’ll get the skin desired by you. You have to have a proper sleep routine i.e. a fixed time of going to sleep and getting up if you really want to have that dream glow on your face.

If you don’t have any fixed routine and think that sleeping a number of hours a day will cast this magic spell on you, you are highly mistaken. In fact not taking scheduled sleep can make you look tired, gloomy and even sick. It can make your skin go dull and lifeless too if you continue following an erratic routine over a long period of time. Insufficient sleep can affect your weight as well. This is because when you sleep well, body reduces stress hormones which then help in fat loss. On the other hand, having an erratic schedule can put you in bad shape and also make you irritable and ill-tempered as well.

You must not forget that skin is a very sensitive part of your body and that it needs to be nurtured with great care and attention. However there are times when even after sleeping long number of hours we feel tired and restless. When such a thing happens, you must realize that there is something wrong with your emotional or mental being. If your mind or heart is not at peace, you are likely to have a disturbed sleep or even nightmares for that matter. In such situations, try sleeping while listening to some meditative music or any thing that seems soothing to your ears.

Cleanse your face well before sleeping and then lie down with nothing in mind or only positive thoughts so ensure that your journey after you close your eyes is peaceful and harmonious. Eat healthy food and have your breakfast on time in the morning. If you follow this even for a week, you’ll see that there’ll be a yawning gap in your skin from what it was earlier.

So from now on, promise yourself to maintain a proper sleep and diet routine to bring the perfect glory to your face!

5. With regular use, you will see your skin pigmentation and smoother in three to four weeks.

Get serious about stress reduction. Skin conditions such as acne appear on many people who are stressed out, and chronic skin conditions then to get worse. Set aside quiet time to meditate or daydream. Be sure to get enough sleep. To avoid morning eye or facial puffiness, sleep on your back so fluid doesn’t collect there. And, you can keep the oil from your hair away from your face by wearing a head covering or a soft headband when you go to bed.

Keep in mind that too much stress can affect your overall health as well as your complexion.
